Kelsea Ballerini is topping off 2023 with two CMA Award nominations.

Taking place in Nashville in November, the 'Penthouse' singer will be battling it out for the coveted Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year Awards.

In the Album category, Ballerini is up for her triumphant 2023 record Rolling Up The Welcome Mat, alongside her co-producer Alysa Vanderheym and mix engineer Dan Grech-Marguerat.

The seven track-record and short film was released to both commercial and critical acclaim, with the release being described as a raw and honest look at the demise of her marriage to fellow country musician, Morgan Evans.

In the esteemed category, she's up for the award against Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen.

The 'IF YOU GO DOWN' singer has also been given the nod in the Female Vocalist of the Year category, where she'll face up against Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce and Lainey Wilson.

The 2023 CMA Awards are due to take place on Wednesday, November 8 in Nashville, with Luke Combs looking to defend his title as Entertainer of the Year against an array of challengers that includes the likes of Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood.

At the other end of the spectrum, many artists will arrive in Music City with their first ever nomination under their belt, including Megan Moroney, The War and Treaty and Zach Bryan.
