Kane Brown has revealed the official tracklist for his keenly awaited studio album, The High Road, with an A-list cast of artists from country music and beyond set to feature.
The record, which is set to drop on January 24th, has been preceded by a stellar string of singles, including Kane Brown's sensual, R&B-tinged duet with his wife, Katelyn, ‘Body Talk’.
This marked the duo's second collaboration, following the 2023 CMT-winning ‘Thank God’, and most fans had assumed that would ‘Body Talk’ would be Katelyn's sole appearance on The High Road. However, excitingly, Kane has revealed that he has a second duet with Katelyn, titled, ‘Do Us Apart’, which appears to be a sweet, playful twist on the commonly used marriage vow, “Till death do us part”.
Additionally, Kane Brown has confirmed his previously teased Jelly Roll link-up, ‘Haunted’, has made its way onto The High Road, alongside a collaboration with Brad Paisley, ‘Things We Quit’.
Khalid, who joined forces with Kane Brown and Swae Lee for the crossover 2020 hit, ‘Be Like That’, has teamed up with Kane again for another high-profile collaboration, ‘Rescue’.
Alongside Kane Brown's EDM-infused, Marshmello-assisted earworm, ‘Miles On It’, and other already-released singles, ‘I Can Feel It’, ‘Fiddle in the Band’ and ‘Backseat Driver’, fans will be able to enjoy never-before-heard tracks such as ‘3’, ‘When You Forget’, ‘I Am’ and ‘Gorgeous’ when The High Road drops at long last early next year.
We're holding out hope that Kane is planning to make another song or two available ahead of January 24th, with his long-awaited Jelly Roll collaboration surely a leading candidate.
