The life and career of Toby Keith will soon be celebrated on one of Music City's biggest stages and then broadcast as a televised concert event, dubbed Toby Keith: American Icon.
On July 29 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, some of country music’s biggest stars will unite for a benefit concert in honor of the country legend who passed away in February of this year.
Heavy-hitters like Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, The War And Treaty, and more will all play a part in celebrating the life and legacy of the late icon.
Many of these acts have paid tribute to Keith in the months since his passing, taking to award shows, festival stages and beyond to offer up their renditions of the star's classic catalog.
Tickets for this star-studded tribute event will go on sale Friday (June 28) at 10 a.m. Central.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, contributing to causes that had been close to Keith.
The special event will air on NBC on August 28, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.
