Jelly Roll and Kelly Clarkson have teamed up for a stunning duet of Jelly's vulnerable ballad, ‘I Am Not Okay’, as part of the latest episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show on NBC.
Arriving as part of Kelly Clarkson's much-loved Kellyoke cold-open portion of the show, Jelly and Kelly delivered a moving rendition of the powerful, mental-health-inspired track.
‘I Am Not Okay’ was released as the lead single from Jelly Roll's celebrated new album, Beautifully Broken, which was released on Friday (October 11th), with the track spreading across TikTok like wildfire as fans resonated with its deeply personal message.
Jelly Roll's performance was pervaded by his trademark sincerity, with Jelly consciously making eye contact with members of the audience as he provided his message of encouragement.
For the majority of ‘I Am Not Okay’, Kelly Clarkson offered harmonies, before the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker took the helm for a stellar solo, with Jelly stepping back and smiling in disbelief.
Later in the show, Jelly Roll joined Kelly Clarkson to discuss his new record, which is currently on-track to move 134,000 units in its first week. It's expected to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 - marking Jelly Roll's first ever chart-topping album - with Rod Wave's Last Lap currently serving as the biggest threat to Beautifully Broken's ascent.
