Jason Isbell's acclaimed 2013 album, Southeastern, is being reissued on September 29 to mark the ten-year anniversary of the project, which remains one of the most influential records in the modern country and Americana landscape.

As part of the rerelease, Isbell will be releasing a special four LP boxset, which will include previously unheard Southeastern demos, as well as a new live recording of the project.

It looks set to be a hit with Jason Isbell's loyal fanbase, especially given the fact that the Southeastern boxset will also feature a booklet of handwritten lyrics, along with liner notes from Charles Hughes.

The project will be available as both a CD and an LP, and will serve as a celebration of the 13-song record's lasting legacy as a touchstone for a number of contemporary artists.

Fans will be excited to listen back to remastered versions of Southeastern highlights, such as ‘Elephant’ and ‘Cover Me Up’. The latter enjoyed a dramatic resurgence in popularity following the release of Morgan Wallen's captivating cover in 2019.

Earlier in 2023, Jason Isbell dropped a brand new album with his 400 Unit band, Weathervanes, which continues to be championed by many as one of the albums of the year.
