Luke Combs is teasing a major announcement arriving on Thursday August 13th, 2026, with the North Carolina native seemingly hinting at more My Kinda Saturday Night Tour dates.

Speculation was sparked when Combs’ official fan-page, Luke Combs HQ, shared a clip of a briefcase with the ‘Beautiful Crazy’ hitmaker's signature logo adorned across it. There seemed to be card-shaped items inside, leading many to assume he's about to unveil something to do with his love of trading cards, with Combs even having a separate account - Combs Cards - on which he shares his hobby.

However, now, we suspect this is actually about upcoming tour-dates. Shortly after the Luke Combs HQ teaser, Wyatt McCubbin and Shenandoah shared covers of Combs’ songs with the mysterious date - August 13th - in the caption. On Combs’ website, there's a countdown that ends at 10am CDT (2pm BST) on August 13th.

Fans might remember that Combs adopted a similar strategy for his initial My Kinda Saturday Night World Tour unveiling, when he got all of his openers, such as The Script, Thomas Rhett, Ty Myers, The Castellows, Jake Worthington and Thelma & James, to share covers of his songs as they teased their involvement in the impending tour.

Shenandoah have shared a stripped-back rendition of Combs’ hit single, ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, while McCubbin performs ‘Daytona 499’, a song he co-write with Combs.

Shenandoah have a fairly spaced-out smattering of shows lined up throughout the year, so we can't imagine they'll be unveiling any new tour-dates for 2026, while McCubbin, similarly, is currently opening for Zach Top for the foreseeable future. We imagine Combs is gearing up to announce a 2027 tour, rather than more 2026 shows.

Combs, of course, recently concluded his initial My Kinda Saturday Night run with a triple-header at London's Wembley Stadium, with the country titan not having any more dates on the books at the time of writing. In his tour farewell post, however, he did tease that he would “See y’all next year!”, suggesting he'd be hitting the road again in 2027. Now, it seems we're about to find out where he'll be performing.

While Combs’ August 13th announcement could still feasibly be related to his trading cards, the fact that his Combs Cards page has not shared the cryptic teaser video suggests to us that this is a tour reveal instead. What's more, it would feel like a bit of a cruel red herring to employ the exact same approach that he used for his 2026 My Kinda Saturday Night Tour unveiling, only to then not announce a tour.

It's also worth highlighting that, in the background of the Luke Combs HQ teaser video, you can hear a live recording of Combs singing ‘My Kinda Saturday Night’. This implies his next run of shows will be an extension of his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, rather than being a ‘new’ tour altogether based around another album.

We'll know more on August 13th, but in the meantime, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any other artists sharing Combs covers and teasing that they'll be on his next run.
