On top of handing out awards for the best country music videos from the past year, the CMT Music Awards 2021 had some incredible performances last night.

There's no point in trying to pick the best because they were all such fun.

Not only did Mickey Guyton duet with Gladys Knight - and Breland! - but Kelsea Ballerini performed her brand new song with Paul Klein (LANY), 'I Quit Drinking', for the first time. It turned into an emotional exchange in the rain.

On top of those standout moments, Lady A kicked off the show with Carly Pearce and Lindsay Ell, Chris Stapleton played from an offsite location and then joined H.E.R. toward the end of the broadcast for a second live performance and Thomas Rhett performed his new single 'Country Again'.

Before winning Video of the Year (with John Legend), Carrie Underwood joined NEEDTOBREATHE for their collaborative number 'I Wanna Remember', Luke Combs did 'Cold As You' and Kane Brown closed the show with Chris Young, singing 'Famous Friends'.

Catch up on all of the CMT Music Awards 2021 winners, and check out our full list of performances below. We can call it our "favorites", but who are we kidding? We loved it all.
