A fan has shared the heartwarming story of how her prayers were answered at a recent Ella Langley show, with Ella offering her the encouragement she needs to pursue her dreams.

The fan, Sarah, who runs ESSJAY MODE styling, recalls how she had been weighing up whether to dive further into costume design and Western wear, which are her passions.

Sarah underlines how much she adored Ella's new album, Dandelion, explaining that it made her feel “connected” to the Alabama native. While attending Ella's recent concert at Ottawa Blues Fest, before the ‘Be Her’ crooner took the stage, Sarah said a quiet prayer, asking God to use Ella as a vessel if He had anything to say to her.

Sarah begins, “I went to see Ella Langley on Friday and so Ella's very vocal about being Christian and how much she loves Jesus, and all that, and obviously her music reflects that. And I've, like, fallen in love with her last album, and I feel connected to her that way. I made me and my best friend outfits to go to the show”.

She goes on, “We got they're pretty early. Like, I'd say we were in the crowd standing waiting for her at, like, 6. So we kind of, you know, became friendly with the people around us, and they were talking about our outfits. And my friend was like, ‘Yeah, she made both of ours’...And I was talking to the girl standing directly next to me - but I'm 5 ft 10 and everyone can hear me - about how I would love to lean more into that side of things and not just, like, make stuff to make stuff”.

In a caption, Sarah elucidates on what she means by this last point, emphasising that she doesn't want to be “just making batches of clothes to sell, rinse repeat”.

Sarah expands, “I want to get into, like, real costume design and, like, Western stuff and how much I love it and how much it's just, like, my whole thing. And before the show started, I was like, ‘If you have a message for me, just use [Ella] as a vessel’”.

Then, she cuts to a video of Ella making a speech during the show, with her words feeling directed at Sarah. Ella muses, “This part is never scripted. I don't have something up here and I'm not reading off anything. I literally asked the Lord to use me as a vessel in this moment. And so tonight, what I feel like saying - and I hope it makes it to the right people - if you feel called to do something with your life, do it. If you feel like there's a decision for you, don't ask anybody else. Don't ask social media...If you feel called to do that thing in your life, do it”.

Sarah excitedly responds, “thank you ella for being vocal and doing the lords work I love you!!!!”, before expressing her gratitude to the fans nearby, “And now, someone sent me this video very kindly...Basically, all the girls that were around me, they just heard me talking about my business and fashion design. They all turned to me and they were [pointing up to Heaven]. And it was the best moment of my life”.

Touchingly, this video has made its way to Ella herself, with the country chart-topper replying, “Wow I'm crying”. A number of fellow artists have shared how this story struck a chord with them, too, with Emily Ann Roberts gushing, “God is so good...not one prayer goes unheard by him!!!!! You chase those dreams that the Lord put on your heart sister”, while Avery Anna enthuses, “Oooo yes God that was so sick”.

Langley has been vocal about her own faith throughout her 2026 Dandelion Tour, with the ‘you look like you love me’ singer-songwriter often using these unrehearsed moments in the set to profess her dedication of God and Jesus and share her testimony.

Ella's cri-de-coeur, which she offers both through her live shows and recorded music, is clearly resonating and having a powerful impact on a host of her fans.
