EXCLUSIVE: Runaway June Premiere Easy Kids Sing Along Video for ‘Put A Smile On’ from Growin’ Up Country Vol. Two

Country music has always ostensibly been music made by adults, for adults and about adults, but it’s still sometimes had its more child friendly moments along the way. There have been country songs for kids recorded by everyone from Kacey Musgraves to Kermit the Frog. Johnny Cash, Tom T. Hall and Bobby Bare made entire albums of children’s songs. And let's not forget Mason Ramsey was only 11 years old when he first started yodeling in Walmart.

Whether your kids are body popping along to ‘Baby Shark’ or going back for their one millionth listen of ‘Let It Go,’ it’s not always easy to find music that your kids want to listen to that you can enjoy just as much as they do. A brand new collection, Growin’ Up Country Vol. Two, hopes to change all that.

The project follows last year’s debut of Growin’ Up Country Vol. One, which featured an all-star country cast including Brett Young, RaeLynn, Mickey Guyton, Shaylen, Jade Eagleson and Laci Kaye Booth.

“I’m so excited to share that Growin’ Up Country is back with more music for the whole family,” said artist and executive producer Jaden Michaels. “This project is so close to my heart. Many of the artists and writers on this project are parents, including myself. I’m passionate about creating music that will empower children with songs that parents will actually enjoy listening to as well.”

Growin’ Up Country Vol. Two promises the same catchy, family-friendly country songs as the first volume, this time with John Osborne, Twinnie, Lucie Silvas, Andrew Jannakos, High Valley, Kelleigh Bannen and lots more.

It certainly put a big smile on ours this morning. It’s not an easy thing to write songs that will appeal across the generations, but this is definitely an album that’ll have you looking forward to all those long 4th of July family road trips you’ve got coming up as kids and adults alike share in the joy of listening to country music at top volume and singing along.
