Ella Langley, Tucker Wetmore, Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson and more have been unveiled as performers at the 2026 CMA Awards, which takes place on Wednesday, November 18th.
Also joining the first round of performers is Tim McGraw, The Red Clay Strays, Kacey Musgraves and Zach Top. CMA confirms there will be a tribute to Dolly Parton at the ceremony, but it hasn't yet been revealed which artists will be a part of this.
It ensures the anticipation remains sky-high ahead of the latest instalment in the CMA Awards, as some of the biggest names in country music come together at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to celebrate another fantastic year for the genre.
The song-choices for each performer is yet to be unveiled, but we'd be surprised if Langley doesn't sing her ubiquitous hit, ‘Choosin’ Texas’, which is up for both Song and Single of the Year. The Alabama native is widely expected to sweep the major awards, with Langley favourite to win Entertainer, Female Vocalist and more.
Lainey Wilson returns as the host, following a successful stint at the helm in 2025, and we're hoping the ‘Heart Like a Truck’ hitmaker is included in the next wave of performers.
It'll be interesting to see what song Tim McGraw performs. Taylor Swift is making her much buzzed-about return to the CMA Awards this year, and with Swift recently celebrating the 20th anniversary of her early single, ‘Tim McGraw’, we're wondering if this could be the perfect occasion for Swift and McGraw to unite on-stage.
We'll have to wait and see, but the CMA Awards usually have a couple of curveball performances up their sleeves. Either way, it's sure to be another stellar night of music.
