Drew Baldridge continues to make history with his sweet ode to his wife, ‘She's Somebody's Daughter’, which has taken the top spot on this week's UK Country Radio Airplay Chart.
The heartfelt song's latest accolade comes weeks after he became the only person in history to earn his first US Country Radio No. 1 as an independent artist, with ’She's Somebody's Daughter’ reaching the pinnacle of the chart earlier in the summer.
Baldridge penned the track in honour of his wife, Katherine, with the Illinois singer-songwriter crooning warmly, “She's somebody's whole world / She's somebody's baby / And if you don't treat her right / Hers won't be the only heart you're breaking”.
‘She's Somebody's Daughter’ accumulated 718,992 impressions during the frame dated August 30 - September 5, with Lainey Wilson's ’Hang Tight Honey’ slotting in at No. 2.
Completing the Top Five this week is Nate Smith's ’Bulletproof’, Jordan Davis’ ’I Ain't Sayin’ and Tyler Hubbard's ’Park’, which fill up the No. 3, 4 and 5 positions respectively.
The biggest mover is Jackson Dean's long-awaited single, ‘Heavens To Betsy’, which surged up a staggering 8961% over the course of the week, taking it just inside the Top 40.
There are new entries in this frame for Caleb Caudle and Aoife O'Donovan's ‘The Brim’ (No. 27), Cody Johnson and Brooks and Dunn's ‘Long Live Country Music’ (No. 28), Jackson Dean's ’Train’ (No. 36), Dean Owens, Joey Burns and John Convertino's ‘After the Rain’ (No. 41), Outpost Drive's ‘Country Revival’ (No. 42), Robert Vincent's ‘Lost Souls’ (No. 43) and Tanner Adell's ‘Cowboy Broke My Heart’ (No. 49).
