If we were going to pick a pop country singer to party with on International Women's Day then Dasha would be to top of our list. Luckily for us, and the crowd of 4,500 at the Uber East Music Hall, the annual celebration on the 8 March coincided with Country to Country festival coming to Berlin in Germany.

Following a lively set from Tucker Wetmore on the main stage, Dasha wowed the crowd with a perfectly selected pick of her pop country hits including 'Didn't I,' 'Bye Bye Bye,' recent single 'Not At This Party,' and a wonderfully chaotic set ending performance 'Austin,' which saw the singer jump down from the stage, sing her way through the crowd and reappear in the middle of the audience on the Spotlight stage.

Just like she had done two days earlier at her show at Fabrik in Hamburg, Germany, she also took the opportunity to test run some new music from her as yet unconfirmed forthcoming project.

After opening the set with 'Ain't No Friend Of Mine' from her recently released deluxe version of What Happens Now? and 'Heartbreaker from Tennesse,' she quickly dropped the first of her unreleased songs. Previously teased on TikTok when she opened a text from her brother and played a snippet of the song, the live version of 'Run Like Hell' is bolstered by a chunky punk pop country riff and a driving bassline. With lyrics like, "My momma told me, 'Dasha go and do what you want' / so don't hurt yourself / cos if I were you, oh man, I'd run like hell, " the new song is a lively, high-octane addition to her live sets.

She followed the bombastic banjo bashing anthem 'Didn't I' with the second of her new songs, 'Give Me A Second,' a perky pop country shuffle that saw Dasha leading the crowd in a call-and-response of "Ooh Oohs." With lines like "You seem distracted so would you care if I tore a page from your playbook / I kick my boots up on the bar, sip your buddy's beer / I pressed my lips against his neck like you ain't even here," 'Give Me A Second' is a one of those deeply relatable toxic relationship songs that Dasha has made her trademark.

Fittingly for International Women's Day, Dasha chose to pay tribute to one of country music's great female trailblazers, Gretchen Wilson, with a rocked-up version of her noughties country anthem 'Here For The Party,'

"Come on ladies! This one's for you," she screamed, before commending all the country girls in the audience for being "so hot!"

"You know I'm here for the party and I ain't leaving till they throw me out," as the Gretchen Wilson Girl Power classic goes, and Dasha was here for the party at C2C festival in Berlin. Although thankfully we can report she was able to the venue without having to be formally escorted off the premises.

This was one party she definitley was at.
