The cover artwork for Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated new single, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, has been unveiled, ahead of the long-awaited song's official release date on Friday, July 5th.

The ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ cover will feature a grayscale close-up of Morgan Wallen's left eye, with the titular lyrics tattooed underneath. Given this is the first release from Morgan's One Thing At A Time follow-up, this moody, vulnerable aesthetic could well be an indicator as to the creative direction and overall ambience of his new album.

The subtle way in which the words ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ fall down his cheek creates the appearance of teardrops, with Morgan looking to be on the verge of tears in the image, mirroring the heartbroken, despondent atmosphere of the brooding, introspective track.

2024 | Big Loud

After first teasing ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ during an intimate performance in Nashville back in February, Morgan Wallen released a live version of the much-loved song on his celebrated Abbey Road Sessions project, recorded at the iconic UK studio, which dropped on the one-year anniversary of One Thing At A Time on March 3rd.

Thankfully, the Sneedville singer-songwriter then introduced ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ into his One Night At A Time world tour setlist as part of the stripped-back, acoustic section of his show, which also features fan-favourites such as ’Cover Me Up’ and ‘Sand in My Boots’.

Morgan Wallen will drop ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ the day after US Independence Day - July 5th - following his blockbuster show across The Pond at London's BST Hyde Park 2024. He'll be joined at the momentous event, which has previously been headlined by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion and The Rolling Stones, by Riley Green, ERNEST, Ella Langley, Alana Springsteen, Alexandra Kay, Zandi Holup and more.
