The first round of performers for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards has been announced, and already, the ceremony's lineup is topped off with talent.
Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson will all be taking the Ford Center stage in Frisco, Texas. This round of entertainers will join the night's host Reba McEntire, who is slated to debut new music at the event.
Many of the artists tapped to perform boast some pretty hefty nominations going into the country music celebration. Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson have garnered nods in many of the award categories, but come May 16, they'll all be duking it out for night's biggest prize: Entertainer of the Year.
Additional artists set to perform will be announced in the coming weeks. Perhaps the ceremony's three frontrunners – Luke Combs with his whopping eight nominations and Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen, who also top the list with six nods apiece – will be among them.
The ACM Awards will be held on Thursday, May 16, once again taking place at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. The event will be available to stream live on Prime Video at 7 p.m. Central that evening.
