Pretty soon, Texas-sized troubadour Charley Crockett will be bringing the Lone Star state to the world. But before he gets into the thick of his $10 Cowboy Tour, the 'Man From Waco' star has something in store for the places and fans he loves so much.
In celebration of his forthcoming album $10 Cowboy, arriving April 26, Crockett has announced he will be playing some of the most iconic venues across his home state of Texas with tickets for each show cashing in at just $10.
For the special $10 shows, the star will take on Austin's legendary Broken Spoke on April 29 before hitting up Helotes' John T. Floore’s Country Store on April 30. Meanwhile, May 1 will see the artist at Armadillo Palace in Houston and then Dallas' Longhorn Ballroom the following night.
“A $10 Cowboy is a country singer who made himself on a street corner in America," the artist explained of the album and its title track. "But the cowboy way, the cowboy mindset, that applies to anyone who doesn’t feel free, who feels fenced in and bound to something”.
The songs on the record were captured on tape in the studio, giving each one them that hallmark live Crockett sound, something fans can soon experience firsthand.
Pre-sale for the $10 Texas shows will take place on Monday (April 15). General on sale will begin the next day.
