Morgan Wallen was accompanied by legendary country duo, Brooks & Dunn, for his pre-show walkout at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium. The three artists later joined forces on-stage during Morgan's encore for a crowd-wide sing-a-long of ‘Neon Moon’.

It's not the first time Morgan Wallen has covered the iconic heartbreak anthem, which Brooks & Dunn released back in 1991, with Morgan previously sharing an acoustic version of the track on socials, as well as bringing out Ronnie Dunn to perform it in 2022.

Attendees at Morgan Wallen's packed-out Kansas City, Missouri tour-stop had an inkling Brooks & Dunn might emerge for ‘Neon Moon’ during his headline set, after the trio were spotted on the Jumbotron as part of Morgan's now-signature pre-show walkout. The Sneedville hitmaker's trademark concert introduction was once again soundtracked by his fiery collaborations with Lil Durk and Moneybagg Yo, ‘Broadway Girls’ and ‘WHISKEY WHISKEY’ respectively.

Intriguingly, at the end of the black-and-white walkout video Brooks & Dunn shared via Instagram following the Kansas City show, the words “To be continued...” appear on-screen.

Could they be teasing a collaboration with Morgan Wallen? Ronnie Dunn, Kix Brooks and Morgan are all good buddies, and Brooks & Dunn are known to love a blockbuster duet.

The duo released reimagined versions of ‘Brand New Man’ with Luke Combs, ’Neon Moon’ with Kacey Musgraves, ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie’ with Midland and more as part of their 2019 Reboot project. It's safe to say fans would be keen for the ‘Thought You Should Know’ chart-topper to be added to this stellar list of collaborators.

When Morgan Wallen introduced Brooks & Dunn during his final stretch of songs, the audience went wild, with Morgan leading the opening verse before Ronnie took the helm for the second. Each artist delivered faultless vocals, but they were almost drowned out by the euphoric crowd gleefully screaming each lyric back at them.

One of the highlights of the performance arrived when Ronnie Dunn bellowed a charismatic, a cappella rendition of the hook, with Morgan Wallen then closing out the song with the titular lyric. It helped ensure the energy remained high for Morgan's grand finale of ‘Last Night’ and ‘The Way I Talk’, which capped off an electric set that also featured an enchanting version of ’Lies, Lies, Lies’ with Lainey Wilson.
