Bailey Zimmerman will have barely had time to finish his leftover turkey and sprouts, before he had to get straight back to work with his debut performance on Good Morning America.
Alongside his band, Zimmerman played his hit single, ‘Rock and a Hard Place’, for GMA's viewers.
Prior to his impassioned performance, the Louisville prodigy chatted to the GMA hosts about the success of his 2022 EP, Leave the Light On, which has now gone gold.
Zimmerman was also asked about being booked as support for Morgan Wallen's 2023 world tour, and he described his surprise at being asked to play for arguably the biggest artist in the genre's fanbase.
Donning his trademark backwards-turned ball-cap, Zimmerman explained how his management team had told him he'd been asked to join another high-profile tour, but they'd turned it down.
When he expressed his confusion at this, they told him the good news about being asked to join Wallen's tour instead.
A few weeks ago, Bailey Zimmerman spoke to Holler regarding the lessons he's been learning from Wallen about what it takes to put on a strong live show, and he'll no doubt receive plenty more nuggets of advice from the country star while on tour next year.
It caps off a busy festive period for Bailey Zimmerman, with ‘Fall in Love’, another track from Leave the Light On, becoming his first Country Radio No.1 in early December. This accolade was swiftly followed with the announcement that he'd be releasing a brand new single, ‘Get to Gettin’ Gone’, in time for Christmas.
