Bailey Zimmerman has officially picked up his third Country Radio No. 1 with ‘Religiously’, the title-track from his acclaimed 2023 debut album, which was released in May.

The simmering, heartbroken ode to lost love finds Zimmerman leaning into the moody, atmospheric sound he showcased on his previous two No. 1 singles, ‘Fall in Love’ and ‘Rock and A Hard Place’.

‘Religiously’ was tipped as a future No. 1 as soon as it was sent to Country Radio in the Spring, given the unstoppably momentum Bailey Zimmerman has built since his 2022 EP, Leave the Light On.

His latest No. 1 pivots around a clever turn of phrase, with the up-and-coming songsmith explaining through how he's turned to prayer to try and help him process the fact that he's lost the one person who was there for him ‘religiously’ (“You brought me to God and I put you through Hell / You were all about us, I was all about myself”).

The Illinois native is currently out on the road supporting his good friend, Morgan Wallen, on his 2023 One Night At A Time world tour, with Bailey Zimmerman having secured one of the most coveted opening slots in country music.

During Wallen's recent run of shows in Toronto, Zimmerman surprised the crowd during the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker's headlining set for a special duet of ‘I Deserve A Drink’.

Given the unprecedented success of Bailey Zimmerman's debut record, Religiously: The Album, you'd have to presume the fast-emerging artist and his team will send another track from that project to Country Radio, before moving onto his follow-up.

Prime candidates for Bailey Zimmerman's fourth No. 1 at Country Radio will undoubtedly be high-streaming songs such as ‘You Don't Want That Smoke’, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’ and ‘Fix'n To Break’.
