Anne Wilson has secured four nominations at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards, with the Christian-Country trailblazer earning a momentous nod in the coveted Artist of the Year category.
In addition, the ‘Songs About Whiskey’ singer-songwriter has scored a nomination for Pop or Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for her empowering anthem, ‘Strong’, as well as being up for Bluegrass, Country or Roots Recorded Song of the Year in honour of her stirring Lainey Wilson duet, ‘Praying Woman’.
Completing Anne Wilson's quartet of 2024 GMA Dove Awards nods is a nomination for Bluegrass, Country or Roots Album of the Year for her lauded 2024 project, REBEL, which saw Anne infusing rousing, faith-filled lyricism into country-inspired sonics.

With Anne Wilson securing a GMA Dove Award in 2022 for Pop or Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year in recognition of her inspiring single, ‘My Jesus’, as well as taking home the prestigious New Artist of the Year accolade, this year is shaping up to be another successful ceremony for the Kentucky maverick.
REBEL, which also featured high-profile guest vocals from Chris Tomlin and Jordan Davis, has been championed by critics and fans alike, with Anne Wilson displaying her versatility - both thematically and musically - while staying true to her roots throughout.
The 2024 GMA Dove Awards, which celebrate the leading figures in Gospel and Christian music, are due to take place at Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
