Anna Corcoran has won the AMA-UK Award for UK Instrumentalist of the year.

The Liverpool pianist and singer-songwriter was in competition with Lukas Drinkwater, Martin Harley and Michele Stodart. Her last album, Easier Than Falling, was released in 2016.

She's frequently worked alongside fellow AMA-UK nominee Robert Vincent - while also working on Laura Marling's nominated record Song For Our Daughter.

In her acceptance speech, she thanked them both, alongside Ethan Johns - who produced both records.
