Attendees at Suwannee Spring Reunion 2023 were able to enjoy a stellar roster of performances and activities, with the likes of Molly Tuttle, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters all taking the stage.
As Florida's Americana, folk and alt-country fans filtered out of the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak on March 26, the question will have emerged in their minds - when can we do it all again?
We're still awaiting confirmation of the 2024 dates and line-up, but after such as incredible 2023 occasion, the organisers will undoubtedly deliver another electrifying event next year.
The 2023 instalment also featured memorable appearances from Sam Bush, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sierra Hull, The Earls of Leicester, Big Richard, Armchair Boogie, Jim Lauderdale and more.
Lauderdale penned a range of hits for the ‘King of Country’, Georgia Strait, a number of which featured in the much-loved Strait-starring 1992 film, Pure Country.
To the Suwannee Spring Reunion crowd’s delight, during his solo set at the 2023 festival, Jim Lauderdale serenaded them with live renditions of two of Strait's Pure Country classics, ‘Where the Sidewalk Ends’ and ‘The King of Broken Hearts’.
The 2023 event was also lit up by a captivating bluegrass collaboration between The Infamous Stringdusters and Molly Tuttle, who teamed up to provide a truly iconic moment.
