North Carolina's much-loved celebration of bluegrass music, Earl Scruggs Music Festival, will make its return to Mill Spring on August 30-September 1, 2024 for another year of top-notch talent and iconic performances.
Marking its second year in 2023, the festival tapped country legend Emmylou Harris as its headliner alongside Greensky Bluegrass and Jerry Douglas.
Also on the bill for the second annual event were the likes of Twisted Pine, Jake Blount, The Infamous Stringdusters, Shawn Camp, the Del McCoury Band, The Earls of Leicester and more.

The festival serves to honor the life and legacy of American icon and musical legend, Earl Scruggs. Throughout his career, he crossed musical boundaries and collaborated with artists across musical genres, creating an innovative body of work that still endures today.
Bringing together the best of bluegrass, Americana and roots music, the Earl Scruggs Music Festival held its inaugural event in September 2022, which featured sets from Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leftover Salmon, Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, Bela Fleck's My Bluegrass Heart, Rissi Palmer and many more.
