Another exciting year of the Earl Scruggs Music Festival will soon be underway with a recently announced lineup that bluegrass dreams are made of. The beloved North Carolina-based celebration will make its return to Mill Spring from August 30-September 1 for its third year of unforgettable performances.
This year's festivities will see country giants like Tanya Tucker and Old Crow Medicine Show take the stage as headliners. Iconic pickers such as Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives and Yonder Mountain String Band will also top the bill.
Jerry Douglas and The Earls of Leicester will make their return as the event's hosts. Several guests like The Steeldrivers, Mighty Poplar, Lindsay Lou and Miko Marks will make their exciting Scruggs fest debut.

Last year's celebration saw the legendary Emmylou Harris dominate alongside prog-grass greats Greensky Bluegrass. Also gracing the three-day roster were acts like Twisted Pine, Jake Blount, The Infamous Stringdusters, Shawn Camp, the Del McCoury Band, Della Mae, Sister Sadie, and many more.
As a tribute to the life and legacy of Earl Scruggs, the namesake festival unites the very best across bluegrass, Americana and roots music.
Its inaugural year in 2022 featured once-in-a-lifetime sets from the likes of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leftover Salmon, Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, Bela Fleck's My Bluegrass Heart, Rissi Palmer and beyond.
