Memorial Day is one of the United States’ most poignant holidays. It’s a day to remember and honour those men and women who have lost their lives in military service.

Commemorating the Civil War to World War II and more recent conflicts, Memorial Day is a designated day of remembrance in the United States that falls on the last Monday in May, when loved ones will often use the three-day weekend to come together as a community to watch parades, visit memorials, or host barbecues or picnics with friends and family.
