Although we haven't received new music from Zach Bryan this year at quite the pace we've become accustomed to, the Oklahoma songsmith is still racking up the accolades as he prepares to embark on his 2023 Burn, Burn, Burn world tour.
The song that inspired the tour-name has now been certified Gold by the RIAA, with one of Bryan's older tracks, ‘God Speed’, also receiving the same certification.
This is in recognition of each song moving the equivalent of 500,000 units.
‘Burn, Burn, Burn’ dropped in September, and has already grown into an undeniable fan-favourite during Bryan's live shows.
The track opens with an intricate, vulnerable examination of Bryan's aching sense of restlessness and isolation (“And I see God in everything / The trees and pain and nights in the spring / So why do I still long for a home?”).
It then builds dramatically out into a ferocious, defiant roar as Zach Bryan half-screams the chorus (“So let me go down the line / I wanna feel it all / Joy, pain, and sky”).
The emphatic, energising progression of the track has ensured that ‘Burn, Burn, Burn’ has become a mainstay in Bryan's tour setlist, along with his other recently Gold-certified single, ‘God Speed’.

Both ‘Burn, Burn, Burn’ and ’God Speed’ feature on the Bryan's 2022 live album, All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks), with ‘God Speed’ originally being released as part of the singer-songwriter's celebrated debut album, DeAnn, in 2019.
Back in October 2022, Zach Bryan picked up his first ever RIAA Platinum certification for his smash hit, ‘Something in the Orange’, while the acclaimed album on which the song appears, American Heartbreak, was also certified Gold around the same time.
Zach Bryan is currently gearing up for his 2023 Burn, Burn, Burn tour, with a slew of European dates lined up in the coming weeks, before he heads out on a nation-spanning run of US shows.
