It's safe to say it's a good day to be a Margo Price fan in the UK. Not only have we received a brand new EP and a Sierra Ferrell collaboration from the Illinois native, it's also been confirmed that Price will be heading across The Pond for a special London show at the Lafayette on August 25.
The intimate performance will take place ahead of Price's eagerly anticipated appearance at The Long Road Festival that same weekend.
The line-up for the much-loved UK celebration of country music was revealed last month, with Price being joined by likes of Jon Pardi, Megan Moroney, Blackberry Smoke and more.
The news of Price's Lafayette show arrives in tandem with the release of her brand new EP, which includes a powerful collaboration with fellow alt-country trailblazer, Sierra Ferrell, ‘Change Of Heart’.
Along with this revamped acoustic version of ‘Change Of Heart’, the EP also features two other tracks that originally on Margo Price's widely acclaimed Strays album, which she dropped in January.
‘Anytime You Call’, featuring Lucius, and ‘Radio’ with Sharon Van Etten both appear on the new EP, with the latter already proving to be a favourite among fans. Price and Van Etten recently teamed up for an eye-catching rendition of ‘Radio’ on James Corden's The Late Late Show.
UK fans will be hoping Price performs all three tracks at the Lafayette and at The Long Road Festival, along with a range of hits from across her stellar discography.
