Zach Bryan has capped off a blockbuster year with a 2023 Grammy nomination for ‘Something in the Orange’.
The 2022 single, which was Bryan's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, has been nominated by the Recording Academy for ‘Best Country Solo Performance’.
Announced via live stream on November 15, this represents Zach Bryan's first ever Grammy nomination.
It comes after a controversial, high-profile snub by the CMA Awards 2022, for which Bryan received zero nominations.
Bryan later responded by saying he “will never want to be considered at the CMAs”.
Zach Bryan's Grammy nomination follows the conclusion of his year-long American Heartbreak tour in early November.
To celebrate - and to his fans' delight - Bryan dropped two surprise singles, ‘Fifth of May’ and ‘The Greatest Day of My Life’ on November 11.
Also nominated for ‘Best Country Solo Performance’ is Kelsea Ballerini's ‘Heartfirst’, Miranda Lambert's ‘In His Arms’, Maren Morris' ‘Circles Around This Town’ and Willie Nelson's ‘Live Forever’.
