Rock The South 2024: Where To Stay

Rock The South is a regular highlight of many country music fans’ calendars - but this year, with a blockbuster line-up featuring Eric Church, Jelly Roll, HARDY, Parker McCollum and more, the 2024 instalment is set to be a truly unmissable occasion.

In addition to those four country heavyweights, attendees will be treated to blistering performances from the likes of Oliver Anthony, Warren Zeiders, Flatland Cavalry and Priscilla Block.

Excitingly, as well as being able to witness stellar sets from big-name acts and regular chart-toppers, ticket-holders will get the chance to see a host of future stars from across the genre, including Wyatt Flores, Alana Springsteen, Nate Smith and Treaty Oak Revival.

Every year, Rock The South inspires hordes of country aficionados to descend on the scenic surroundings of York Farms, which can be found just outside of Cullman, Alabama.

This rural idyll serves as the perfect backdrop for some good ol’ country music - however, the remote setting can make it tricky to figure out where best to stay throughout the festival.

After a long night of screaming your lungs out to Eric Church's angsty anthems and head-banging to HARDY's rock-tinged catalogue, the last thing you want is a half hour drive to your hotel.

The Cobblestone is perfectly located for Rock The South attendees, with the site a mere five minute journey away from York Farms via car. Additionally, with temperatures tending to rise above 30 degrees in Cullman in July, visitors will undoubtedly be thankful for Cobblestone's outdoor pool, which is accessible to all guests.

Similarly, given how you'll inevitably be spending much of the festival on your feet, the Cobblestone's complimentary breakfast buffet will ensure you're fully energised before heading down to the grounds. The 24-hour on-site convenience store will also come in handy for any last-minute sun-screen runs and emergency toothpaste supplies.

If you're heading down to Rock The South with a group of your buddies, you might be better off booking an entire house, like the endearingly titled Sweet Tea Cottage.

Located a mere 16 minute drive away from the festival site, this charming, cozy cottage will provide a home away from home for up to five people. After a rowdy, raucous day out at Rock The South, this peaceful, serene space will serve as the ideal retreat to recharge, unwind and prepare to do it all again in the morning.

There's always been some tension between those who consider themselves ‘beach people’ and those who identify as ‘lake people’ - and this paradisal home is tailor-made for the latter.

It's perched on the cusp of the shimmering, soothing Lewis Smith Lake and boasting its own boat dock - and, crucially, a boat that guests are more than welcome to use.

This ‘Paradise To Me’ home, which is less than a quarter of an hour away from Rock The South by car, will sleep up to 10 country-music-lovers, and is perfect for those travelling to the event as part of a larger group. Once you're ready to head back from a day at the festival grounds, you can bring HARDY's HIXTAPE hit, ‘Beer With My Buddies’, to life by cracking a few cold ones with your pals out on the lake.

And if this still doesn't sound like enough aquatic-themed fun, then you'll be pleased to know the much-loved WildWater Cullman water park is just 20 minutes away.

With the vast majority of nearby hotels already booked up for the Rock The South 2024 weekend, your best bet may be to secure a house for you and your team of Rock The South festival-goers - and Guadalupe Home is another fantastic nearby option.

Armed with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, Guadalupe Home is sweet and comfortable, and serves as a convenient base for Rock The South, being located just 16 minutes away.

Another picturesque house situated alongside a stunning lake, the wonderfully wittily named ‘A-Frame Of Mind‘ Home is just a 12 minute drive from the Rock The South grounds.

Although the boat isn't included, guests are welcome to make the most of the on-site kayak if they fancy some nature-based adventures in-between trips to the festival in Cullman.

Nestled in the midst of a lush sea of trees and on the bank of a watery expanse, it doesn't get more country than this. Staying at ‘A-Frame Of Mind’ will allow you to live out all the songs you'll be singing along to throughout the Rock The South weekend.
