NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE'S BIG BASH 2022

Date: Saturday, December 31st

Time: 8pm ET/PT

Channel: CBS

Performers: Zac Brown Band, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn, Little Big Town, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and more

It's no secret that country artists love Christmas, to the extent that New Year's Eve sometimes gets overlooked in the musical calendar.

However, Nashville's Big Bash is doing its utmost to ensure that 2023 is started off right - with a chorus of steel guitars and a cacophony of the finest country hits from 2022.

Nashville's Big Bash 2022 has unveiled a glittering constellation of stars that will be ensuring its attendees and viewers can celebrate in style.

Country royalty such as Zac Brown Band, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan have all been confirmed for the event.

Joining them will be Lainey Wilson, who is ending 2022 as Abby on the hit TV series, Yellowstone. On New Year's Eve, we're hoping that she plays one of her songs from the Season 5 Yellowstone soundtrack, such as ‘Smell Like Smoke’ and ‘New Friends’.

Also set to perform is husband-and-wife duo, The War and Treaty, whose romantic, fire-starting single, ‘That's How Love Is Made’, was featured on Holler's Songs of the Year 2022.

Nashville's Big Bash 2022 will draw together a spectacular suite of fifty performances, all broadcast live from Music City.

CMT's Cody Alan will link up with WCBS’ Lonnie Quinn to celebrate the clock striking midnight in Times Square, New York, but the Big Bash revelry will be kept alive through midnight Central Time in Nashville.

The festive occasion will include a number of special appearances and one-off collaborations.

The list of joint performances has now been revealed, with star-studded team-ups in store from Jimmie Allen and Flo Rida, Sheryl Crow and Ashley McBryde, Steve Miller and King Calaway, Kelsea Ballerini and Wynonna Judd, Zac Brown Band and The War And Treaty, and, lastly, Thomas Rhett and Riley Green, who will presumably perform their recent No. 1 party-starter, ‘Half Of Me’.

Taking charge of the hosting duties will be country stars, Jimmie Allen and Elle King, alongside Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith.
