Morgan Wallen's father, Tommy Wallen, has shared episode 20 of 'Tommy's Sunday Seven.' The father of the country megastar releases a new episode every Sunday on 'Morgan Wallen Radio' via SiriusXM.

This week, Tommy leads his listeners in biblical study by continuing with chapter four of Genesis. Briefly, he recaps what the end of chapter four looks like - from the end of the story of Cain, to his lineage.

Educating his listeners on the contextual background of Cain's descendants, he goes over Genesis 4:17-22. In this passage, he tells listeners that Cain had a son with his wife, which they named Enoch. They also founded a city, which they also named Enoch.

Going over the descendants of Cain, Tommy emphasizes the importance of names and what they mean. Irad, the grandson of Cain, means "fleeing, fugitive, or a wild donkey," Tommy states. Similarly, the great-grandson of Cain, Mehujael, means "smitten by God." Methuseal, another descendant of Cain, means "man of God."

As Tommy cites more from Cain's lineage, the names of his family members and what they mean, he cites an important component from this chapter of Genesis; that many of Cain's family members lived the lives Cain was supposed to live, the life that Cain would've had if he didn't commit mortal sin against his brother, Abel.

In an interesting tidbit, Tommy informs listeners that the 90s rock band "Avenged Sevenfold" got its name from Genesis 4:24, which reads, "If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times." For context, Lamech falls in Cain's lineage, and he said this verse to his wives, boasting about killing a man.

Tommy elaborates on this verse by explaining that Lamech was bragging to his wives that anyone who hurts him, will be retaliated upon with vengeance ten times as hard as the vengenance God had on Cain.

Continuing with Genesis 4:25-26, Tommy introduces the birth of Adam and Eve's third son, Seth. According to these verses, Eve named him Seth because it means "granted" or "appointed," acknowledging that God has provided another child in Abel's place.

Delving slightly into Seth's lineage, Tommy reveals that he had a son named "Enos." According to scripture, the birth of both Seth and Enos marked the beginning of people calling on the name of the Lord - a turned page from the failed lineage of Cain.

As Tommy finishes breaking down Cain and Seth's lineage, he describes the differences in the way each of them lived, reiterating that Cain's lineage ends with a man telling his wives about not needing God, and Seth's lineage ends with men admitting their need for God and calling on His name.
