Morgan Wallen is gearing up for the final two tour-stops on his momentous 2024 One Night At a Time European run, with the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper travelling to Dublin's 3Arena across September 7 and 8 for his first ever shows on the Emerald Isle.
It follows electrifying performances in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and - most recently - Glasgow, with Morgan rattling through his unrivalled array of trap-infused anthems and rowdy, down-home hits on each packed-out night.
Fans attending the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter's Dublin double-header can expect to hear a plethora of Morgan Wallen classics, including ‘Last Night’, ‘Whiskey Glasses’, ’I Had Some Help’, ‘Chasin’ You’, ‘Cover Me Up’, ‘7 Summers’, ‘More Than My Hometown’, ‘Sand in My Boots’ and more.
Excitingly, Morgan has been treating his European fans to an unreleased track, ‘Love Somebody’, which is due to officially be made available “in the next month or two”. We'd be very surprised if he doesn't keep this in the setlist for his Ireland shows.
The two openers for Morgan Wallen's Dublin concerts are again Larry Fleet and Lauren Watkins, two fellow Big Loud label-mates. Lauren is being tipped by many as Nashville's next-big-thing, having just dropped her widely lauded debut album, The Heartbroken Record, in June. Larry, meanwhile, has established himself as one of the premier vocalists and songwriters in Music City, having penned a slew of now-iconic tracks, such as Morgan's No. 1 Eric Church collaboration, ‘Man Made A Bar’, along with the beautiful, soul-stirring, ‘Where I Find God’.
Larry usually comes out with Morgan during his headline set to perform the latter, and we imagine they'll be doing the same at both of this weekend's 3Arena performances.
Doors are set to open at 6pm, with Lauren due to take the stage at 7pm, before Larry performs at roughly 7:45pm. Morgan Wallen usually kicks off his performance somewhere between 8:45pm and 9:15pm, and concludes his three-song encore shortly before 11pm. As always, though, these times are subject to change.
Please bear in mind that, if you want to bring a bag into the 3Arena, it can't be bigger than 40cm by 40cm by 20cm. Large backpacks, luggage or oversized bags are not allowed.
As for what merch you can look forward to seeing on offer in Dublin, so far in Europe, Morgan has been selling his popular green, varsity-inspired hoodie, a black ‘Wallen’ t-shirt with the European tour-dates on the back, his ’Lies, Lies, Lies’ t-shirt, a One Night At a Time tour t-shirt with a photo of him performing on the front and a tour poster. We suspect there will be similar options for sale over the weekend.
Especially given these are the final two dates on Morgan Wallen's 2024 European tour, those heading to see the Sneedville maverick are certainly in for a treat. Many believe he's preparing an album announcement for his two Knoxville, Tennessee shows later this month, and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed he debuts another new track this weekend, ahead of unveiling his One Thing At A Time follow-up.
