Kenny Chesney's sun-soaked, carpe-diem-livin’, No Shoes Nation army of fans have spent the past few months enjoying a plethora of island-inspired anthems from the Knoxville hitmaker as part of Kenny's 2024 Sun Goes Down tour. Now, he's completing the final three shows - a blockbuster triple-header at the signature last venue of his tour, the legendary Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
A co-headlining run with Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney has been bringing a plethora of high-profile guests out with him throughout his Sun Goes Down tour so far.
It has become a nightly tradition that Uncle Kracker joins Kenny to perform their 2004 hit and the tour's name-sake, ‘When the Sun Goes Down’, along with ‘Drift Away’.
The four-time ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year has also been joined by Megan Moroney at virtually every show, with the ‘Tennessee Orange’ singer-songwriter performing ‘All the Pretty Girls’ and ‘She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy’ with Kenny.
The high-octane, feel-good anthem, ‘Beer in Mexico’, has been one of Kenny Chesney's opening songs of choice for a number of years now, and alongside ‘Living in Fast Forward’ and the newly reintroduced ‘Keg in the Closet’, these three ensure the show gets off to an electric start, before launching into 2020's ‘Here and Now’.
Here you can find Kenny Chesney's updated setlist from his 2024 Sun Goes Down concert tour.
Living in the moment and not taking a single second for granted remains a core theme throughout Kenny Chesney's rip-roaring live shows, with uptempo classics such as ‘Young’, ‘Get Along’ and ‘Living in Fast Forward’ all securing their place in his setlist.
Excitingly, Kenny has been including his latest Country Radio No. 1, ‘Take Her Home’, with the wistful, full-circle track one of the many highlights from his widely acclaimed 2024 album, BORN. We're hoping he might perform his new single, ’Just to Say We Did’, along with the energising title-track, during one of his Foxborough shows.
As he'll be performing a stone's throw away from Boston, we imagine Kenny Chesney will deliver a spine-tingling rendition of ‘Boston’, from his lauded 2005 record, Be As You Are: Songs From An Old Blue Chair. Endearingly it's a song he only performs in this state.
