May is shaping up to be a busy month at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry, with country megastar Carrie Underwood set to perform a double-header of shows to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her Opry induction.
This will be taking place on May 13, with the ‘Before He Cheats’ hitmaker due to be joined by Michael Ray, Bill Anderson, Deana Carter and Tigirlily Gold, with the latter making their debut Opry appearance.
Also lined up for May is a star-studded roster of country artists, including Ashley McBryde, Drake Milligan, Marcus King, Tenille Townes, Lauren Alaina, Charles Esten and more.
Larry Fleet will deliver another hotly anticipated Opry performance on May 12, with attendees hoping the ‘Where I Find God’ crooner will make room in his setlist for his brand new single, ‘Young Buck’.
This month also brings the moving Opry Salutes The Troops event on May 20, which will feature performances from the likes of LOCASH, who will be treating ticket-holders to a special rendition of their patriotic anthem, ‘Three Favourite Colors’.
In addition, Opry Salutes The Troops will include a set from much-loved husband-and-wife duo, The War and Treaty, who will be expected to serenade attendees with a series of tracks from their critically acclaimed new album, Lover's Game.
