As the long winter nights drag on, there's a little country light at the end of the tunnel as the Grand Ole Opry unveils the beginnings of its momentous 100th birthday celebrations.
Kicking off the year with its annual winter retreat to its original home of the Ryman Auditorium, the longest-running tradition in country music will host a string of shows at the historic venue from January 3 through 17. Along the way, revered hitmakers and beloved genre figures like Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Ashley McBryde, Marty Stuart, Old Crow Medicine Show and others will take the stage for the first of many "Opry 100" shows.
After heading back to the famed Grand Ole Opry House for the remainder of the month, the coveted venue will host its annual "Opry Goes Dolly" showcase, honoring the legacy and music of the Queen of Country Music. Set to honor the legend from the coveted circle are Ashley Cooke, Chapel Hart, Rhonda Vincent and more.
To add an extra layer of excitement, viral sensation Shaboozey will also be taking the Opry stage for the very first time on the 18th, no doubt bringing a boozy vibe to the first of what will be many Grand Ole Opry debuts in 2025.
Also on tap for January, fans will be able to catch appearances from artists like Trace Adkins, The Oak Ridge Boys and Ricky Skaggs, as well as exciting newer acts like Nate Smith and Ole 60.
