Spring is inching closer and closer, and the vibes at the Grand Ole Opry this month are absolutely immaculate!
With several exciting performances and special events teed up for April, there are a few extra noteworthy events set to take over the hallowed venue.
On April 20, country hitmaker and American Idol alum Scotty McCreery will become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry family. After being invited by icon Garth Brooks at the close of 2023, he'll be joined by the likes of Bill Anderson, Craig Morgan, Riders In The Sky, Josh Turner and more on the celebrated double-header evening.
Also on tap for this month, newcomers John R. Miller and Tyler Halverson will step into the cherished circle for the first time on April 26 and April 16, respectively.
Elsewhere, the venue will play host to some of the format's familiar faces and newest talent, including Charley Crockett, Erin Kinsey, Dylan Marlowe, Mason Ramsey, Ashley Cooke, Ian Munsick, Hailey Whitters, Marcus King, Josiah and the Bonnevilles, Nate Smith and Anne Wilson.
There will be plenty of tried and true country royalty on hand, too, with artists like Vince Gill, Old Crow Medicine Show, Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Terri Clark, Jeannie Seely, Bill Anderson, Ricky Skaggs and Marty Stuart all slated to take the stage.
Before the month's end, the Grand Ole Opry will also see The Black Crowes and Andrew Schulz make stops on their respective spring tours, as well as special One Hallelujah show featuring some of the top names in Christian music on April 7.
