When you choose ‘The Chief’ as your nickname, it's safe to say you're giving yourself big shoes to fill.
But with Eric Church, his powerful stage presence ensures that audience-members always leave with no doubt in their mind as to why he remains one of the most prominent artists in country music.
This year, Church is heading back out on the road for a blockbuster 2023 Outsiders Revival tour, which will take him across Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Oregon, Georgia and more.
He's taking an army of big-name support acts with him, with the likes of Ashley McBryde, Elle King, Parker McCollum, Midland, Lainey Wilson, Hailey Whitters, Whiskey Myers, Jelly Roll, Cody Jinks, Koe Wetzel and Morgan Wade all joining Church on tour this year.

Eric Church concerts have long been renowned for the intensity of his performances and the electricity he sends fizzling throughout the crowd, and his 2023 shows look set to be no different.
Although he officially kicked of his 2023 Outsiders Revival tour on June 22 at Summerfest, Church had some exciting festival appearances lined up before that, including a blockbuster set at Florida's Tortuga Music Festival on April 14.
Judging from Church's recent performances, he's still including fan-favourite anthems such as ‘Springsteen’, ‘Drink In My Hand’, ‘Smoke a Little Smoke‘ and ‘Mr. Misunderstood’ in his setlist this year.
During recent shows, the country star has also been performing some of his more recent material, such as ‘Bad Mother Trucker’ and the sweet, heartwarming love song, ‘Hell of a View’, both of which featured on Church's 2021 project, Soul.
This formed part of the North Carolina native's momentous three-part series of records, Heart & Soul.
Given the fact that Church's shows often span for an impressive 20-30 songs, there's always plenty of room for experimenting with the setlist - something we'll be keeping a close eye on as his 2023 Outsiders Revival tour progresses through the year.
