The initial round of acts for Oregon Jamboree 2023 has been released. On August 4-6, Cody Johnson and Lynyrd Skynyrd will take to the stage at the Sweet Home venue.
Cody Johnson is unveiled following a hugely successful year, with the Texas powerhouse's ‘‘Til You Can't’ receiving a Grammy nomination in November for Best Country Song.
Johnson will be considered a key contender for the award, with ‘‘Til You Can't’ winning Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards.
The high-octane, carpe-diem track continues to build momentum, and festival-goers at Oregon Jamboree 2023 will be keenly anticipating hearing it live in August.
Johnson has gained renown for his electric shows, and is even readying a live album, Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live, on December 2.
Lynyrd Skynyrd marks another exciting addition to the Oregon Jamboree line-up, with the legendary rockers set to bring their extensive arsenal of hits to the festival's main stage.
The Floridian rock band's sound continues to influence a number of contemporary country artists, and their performance is bound to please fans of both genres.
The 2022 instalment of Oregon Jamboree featured jubilant sets from country icon, Miranda Lambert, along with Trace Adkins and Old Dominion.
More acts are still to be announced for Oregon Jamboree 2023, but with the introduction of Cody Johnson and Lynyrd Skynyrd to the line-up, it's safe to say fans' appetites are already being whetted for the August festival.
