We were already incredibly excited about the prospect of CMA Fest 2023 - but when the colossal line-up dropped, you could almost feel the reverberations rippling around the Holler newsroom.
The roster of performers reads like a who's-who of most of today's biggest country stars, with Luke Combs, Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Cody Johnson, Carly Pearce, HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Jimmie Allen and more all set to take the Nashville main-stage.
CMA Fest 2023 will be taking place across June 8-11, and for those who already (foolishly) booked their annual family fishing trip over that weekend, a special CMA Fest 2023 TV Special will be airing later in the summer, with highlights from across the four days.
This will go out on July 19 at 8/7c, and it'll once again be shown on ABC. The hosts for this year's TV special will be returning duo, Dierks Bentley and Elle King, alongside the exciting new addition of Lainey Wilson.
Lainey and Dierks recently released a collaboration, ‘Herassmeant’, as part of Dierks’ Hot Country Knights project, and it'll be interesting to see whether the two team up for a special rendition of the new track during the CMA Fest TV Special.
With the TV Special being shown around a month after CMA Fest 2023, this means you thankfully won't have to wait too long before you can catch up on all the stellar performances you missed - or relive them, if you were able to attend in-person.
