It's that time of year again, and while we may not yet be walking in a crisp, white Winter Wonderland, we do, in the words of Bing Crosby, have “a beautiful sight” to behold on Tuesday, December 3rd, when CMA Country Christmas airs its 2024 instalment.
Trisha Yearwood is once again joined by Amy Grant as hosts for the countrified festive extravaganza, during which viewers able to enjoy performances from the likes of Cody Johnson, Carín León, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Brittney Spencer and more.
In addition, Christian-Country duo, For KING & COUNTRY, will be taking the stage, as will Gospel phenom, CeCe Winans, and both of the 2024 CMA Country Christmas co-hosts.
2024 CMA Country Christmas will air on December 3rd at 8pm ET and 7pm CT via ABC. If you miss the live screening or simply want to relive the CMA's joyful series of festive performances, then fans can stream the show the following day on Disney+ and Hulu.
Cody Johnson is embracing a more Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby-esque feel as he wraps his Texan baritone around two holiday classics, ‘White Christmas’ and ‘I'll Be Home For Christmas’.
For KING & Country, meanwhile, are teaming up with Música Mexicana genre-blender, Carín León, for a stirring performance of the much-loved hymn, ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’.
Another exciting collaboration viewers will be looking forward to experiencing is Ashley McBryde and Brittney Spencer's rendition of ‘Man with the Bag’. Jon Pardi will offer up an energising solo performance of his playful original track, ‘400 Horsepower Sleigh’.
The hosts, Yearwood and Grant, will perform a number of times throughout the show, with CeCe Winans completing the array of performances with a moving take on ‘Joy to the World’.
