Cody Johnson has revealed that his new album will feature a blockbuster duet with Carrie Underwood.

The singer-songwriter has already picked up a 2023 Grammy and the Best New Country Artist award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, along with a slew of 2023 CMT Award nominations.

Cody Johnson's revelation on CMT came as part of a discussion about the Texan's selection as one of the final six contenders for the 2023 CMT Video of the Year Award.
On Sunday, April 2, Johnson will battle it out with a star-studded roster of artists for the coveted accolade, including his new duet partner, Carrie Underwood, who has won the award for the past four years running.
Joining them in the prestigious category is Blake Shelton, Kane & Katelyn Brown, HARDY & Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wallen.
