As the nights draw in and we dust off our Carhartt beanies and slip into our Wrangler flannel shirts, a few other festive couplings spring to mind. Elsa and Olaf, hot chocolate and mince pies, reindeers and red noses, partridges and peartrees - and Taylor and Travis, of course.
However, for us at least, nothing can top the dream pairing of Country music and Christmas. When you're sat around a fire getting ready to open some presents and sip some mulled wine, we don't reach for the Wham! and Michael Buble CDs.
No, we scroll excitedly through Spotify to find Florida Georgia Line's lively and joyously twangy ‘Lit This Year’ and Jon Pardi's playful ‘Beer for Santa’ (much to our families’ chagrin).
As a result, one of the highlights of our festive viewing schedule is undoubtedly the CMA Country Christmas special, and this year, it's safe to say it's shaping up to be one of the best yet.
Fans can look forward to performances from Lainey Wilson and Zach Williams, Ashley McBryde, Jordan Davis, Lady A, Jon Pardi, The War and Treaty, Trisha Yearwood, Jordan Davis and Amy Grant.
As well as performing, Yearwood and Grant will be taking over the hosting duties this year, with viewers set to be serenaded by an array of holiday classics alongside newer releases.
CMA Country Christmas 2023 will air on ABC on December 14, with the eagerly awaited Yuletide extravaganza due to be made available on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.
Last year's instalment of the hugely popular TV special featured spellbinding performances from Carly Pearce, Scotty McCreery, Maren Morris, The War And Treaty and more.
