Charles Wesley Godwin's phenomenal output continues, with the West Virginia native dropping yet another stellar cover.

This time around, he's treated fans to a beautifully stripped-back rendition of The Avett Brothers’ much-loved track, ‘Laundry Room’. The fan-favourite song originally appeared on the band's critically acclaimed 2009 album, I and Love and You.

While we've grown accustomed to Charles Wesley Godwin‘s captivating solo covers, for this new acoustic version of ‘Laundry Room’, the recent Big Loud signee was accompanied by his go-to steel guitar and banjo player, Read Connolly.

As usual, Wesley Godwin's haunting vocals glide faultlessly across the light strum of his guitar and Connolly's playful banjo. With Charles Wesley Godwin having recently released his Live from the Church EP, which featured a couple of moving covers, fans will be wondering whether he'll include a rendition of ‘Laundry Room’ on his upcoming studio album.

In recent weeks, the West Virginia native has serenaded listeners with heartfelt versions of George Strait's ‘Troubadour’ and Merle Haggard's ‘Silver Wings’. He's also been sharing a couple of original unreleased tracks, including ‘Gabriel’ and ‘Miner Imperfections’.

He's currently in the middle of his 2023 US tour, with a range of shows lined up across states such as Colorado, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Alabama, Florida and more.
