Cinematic, emotive and deeply personal – few artists make music videos quite like Zach Bryan. His forthcoming visual for 'Oak Island' seems set to be no different.
The 'Something in the Orange' star just announced the video accompaniment to his gripping story song à la The Great American Bar Scene will premiere on Tuesday (Sept. 13).
The news arrives not long after the hitmaker shared a teaser of the silver screen-worthy footage, which starred actors Casey Affleck and Jack Martin in a montage of stirring scenes.
Written by Bryan alongside his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia, the music video for 'Oak Island' will likely follow the enrapturing song's gritty narrative about two brothers and the trouble that awaits them in the tune's titular locale.
According to a TikTok from LaPaglia, the visual will be directed by Matthew Dillon Cohen, who has captured several of Bryan's music videos, including 'Oklahoma Smokeshow', 'Boys of Faith' and most recently 'Nine Ball', which starred the legendary Matthew McConaughey.
The latter video, with its all-star cast, stunning cinematography and dramatic arc, has set the standard for Bryan's visuals; and from the teaser, 'Oak Island' won't disappoint.
