"Worlds been a bit heavy lately, new music tonight," Zach Bryan shared on his most recent Instagram Story, gifting fans the promise of a new tune by the end of the day Wednesday (Nov. 6).
The social media story featured a brief clip of four unknown people playing horns in a dimly lit room surrounded by amplifiers and various other instruments.
No further information accompanied the alert; however, the hitmaker's words are perhaps in reference to the collective feelings surrounding the recent U.S. presidential election and the uncertainty that has hung heavily over the nation these last few weeks.
It is unknown what music the artist will be dropping, but the last several weeks have seen him tease a few unreleased tracks, like ‘All Good Things Past’, ‘Rockaway’ and the most recent ‘Motorbreath’.
Of those, 'All Good Things Past' has been the only number accompanied by brass flourishes.
While little has yet to be revealed about these recent song teasers, Bryan did explain that he has already written “14 songs” for a new project while in conversation with Bruce Springsteen for Rolling Stone.
“I'm not sure how I want to record a lot of them," he explained during the artist-to-artist heart-to-heart, "and I just don't know right now. But this is the first time in my life where I've given myself time not to know. I'm really thinking about it”.
Tonight, though, we may very well be getting a first official taste of what's to come from the star's next era.
