Paramedics at the Tacoma Dome were Johnny-on-the-spot during night one of Zach Bryan's two-date stint in Washington State, rushing to the aid of one of his bandmates during the show's close. However, it turned out to be a false alarm.
When it comes to the hitmaker's iconic encore, in which he performs a sometimes star-studded take on his song 'Revival' and introduces his band at the same time, theatrics are often thrown in. The Friday night (Nov. 22) showcase was no different.
As Bryan was introducing his steel guitarist-banjoist, Read “Two Show” Connolly, the stringsman feigned collapse on cue, urging his surrounding bandmates to "revive" him ... for the song 'Revival'. They dramatically attempt to keep him upright while fanning him with a hat just for him to pop back up to deliver an expressive solo unphased.
This time around and at this arena, though, the emergency medical team wasn't taking any chances.
In a fan captured video, responders can be seen rushing down the aisle to assist. Quickly getting the hint, they can soon be seen retreating back to their posts, with one of them saying, “They should tell us that’s part of the act.”
Everyone from rock legend Bruce Springsteen to rap star Sexyy Red has joined the artist for his 'Revival' closer, and now, we can add Tacoma Dome medical staff to that growing list of cameos.
The two-night stay in Tacoma, Washington is one of the final shows of Bryan's sprawling Quittin' Time tour, a near-year-long jaunt that will see the star through the rest of November and much of December.
After the final lap, Bryan has a handful of shows dotting his 2025 calendar, but the artist recently announced a pause on his touring career. Earlier this month, he told fans that he would be leaving the stage to pursue a Masters degree in Paris.
