It's a bittersweet moment, as Zach Bryan's Quittin’ Time tour is approaching ‘Quittin’ Time’, with the Oklahoma hitmaker performing the final two shows of his 2024 run this week.

Last night (Wednesday, December 18th), the ‘I Remember Everything’ singer-songwriter kicked off his two-show finale in Brooklyn, New York, with a raucous, spell-binding set that was packed to the brim with fan-favourites from across his impressive catalogue.

The final song of the night, ‘Revival’, is always the most electrifying moment in Zach Bryan's set, with the entire venue coming together to roar out the lyrics, “Baptize me with a bottle of Beam, throw Johnny on the vinyl!” alongside Zach. But in Brooklyn, the closer was given an extra sense of verve and vigour, with the crowd and Zach Bryan's band-members all knowing full well this would be one of the last times they'd get to let out this cathartic bellow until Stagecoach in April 2025.

Zach Bryan even had a Christmas tree and a man dressed as Santa roaming around the stage, ensuring his New York performance carried a warm, festive feel throughout. While there was no doubt that this was a night of celebration, Zach's demeanour betrayed a nostalgic, wistful air, which will be exacerbated by the fact that he has repeatedly confirmed he will not be touring in 2025, instead performing a smattering of isolated shows, such as two BST Hyde Park 2025 dates in London, UK.

Elsewhere during the ‘Something in the Orange’ crooner's opening night in Brooklyn, New York, the audience were treated to enchanting, haunting renditions of tracks such as ’Dawns’, which Zach Bryan performed alongside a New York City string quartet.

‘Towers’, taken from Zach Bryan's latest album, The Great American Bar Scene, was unquestionably another stand-out, as was his nostalgic, introspective reflection on grief, ‘Pink Skies’.

The enthralled crowd also cheered in approval as Zach Bryan serenaded them with some of the earliest offerings in his expansive discography, such as ’Heading South’ and ‘Condemned’, with virtually every attendee screaming the lyrics right back at him.

This evening (Thursday, December 20th), Zach Bryan returns to the Barclays Center for the last show of his Quittin‘ Time tour, and we're keeping our fingers crossed he has a few surprises in store - and potentially even a special guest or two at the ready.
