Riley Green has once again opened his comments to swooning fans as he covers Travis Tritt’s ‘Drift Off To Dream’ across his socials.
In his Montgomery Biscuits trucker cap and an oversized hoodie, Green serenades his camera – and 2.1 million followers – with his sultry vocals and effortless delivery of the ‘90s country song.
“I know I’ll find you, but girl ‘til I do / This is my love song to you,” he sings, honouring the country music legend in his caption with a simple, “What a song.”
Tritt, who performed 'T.R.O.U.B.L.E' with Post Malone at the Opry 100 showcase earlier this week (March 19), released ‘Drift off to Dream’ back in 1990 on his Country Club album, spending one week at No. 1 in 1991.
Spying Green and his guitar across his socials has recently become synonymous with new music teasers, with his most recent preview appearing just last week.
Only five months since his latest album drop, Don’t Mind If I Do, it seems Green is already gearing up to release a new body of work. In February, fans were given the first snippet of what’s to come with ‘Make It Rain’ followed by ‘My Way’ in early March.
Green has yet to reveal any information about new music, but is slated to begin his Damn Country Music Tour on March 27 in Abbotsford, BC.
