Villagers, Bob Harris And More Announced For Long Road Festival 2022

The Long Road festival have announced a plethora of new names that are set to appear this August, including Villagers and Bob Harris in conversation.

Making its return this year at Stanford Hall Estate in Leicestershire between 26-28th August 2022, the bank holiday weekend will be filled with Country and Americana music, alongside the finest American food, drink and experiences you can find.

The line-up is already packed with some of country and Americana's biggest names, including Chris Young, The Cadillac Three, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, LOCASH, Drake White, Brandy Clark and more. Now, they treat us even further with this latest announcement of stellar names.

Following the release of their latest album ‘Fever Dreams’ last summer, Irish indie-folk band Villagers will headline the Interstate stage on the Sunday night. Alongside them, radio icon Bob Harris will be in conversation to tell stories from his 50-year plus career.

Hosting a day at the event, The Americana Music Association UK, have alsoa nnounced the names of who will be playing as part of their Takeover. Bluegrass band The Vanguards, Kevin Daniel and Misty River will star, alongside St. Catherine’s Child, Dan Bettridge and Holler favourite Simeon Hammond Dallas.

Elsewhere on the line-up, Eric & Jensen, Harleymoon Kemp and Savannah Gardner have also been announced, while Sunny Sweeney, Whitney Rose and Sarah Darling will play the Songwriters Round.

If you like your festivals to run late into the night, TLR's got you covered on that side too. Buck N Bull will host the official After Parties, with live performances from Tebey, Everette and Seaforth, alongside DJ sets from who else, DJ Hish.

Plus, now that we've moved to the August bank holiday, there's even more time to enjoy the beautiful setting of Stanford Hall in the Leicestershire countryside. We can't wait to welcome you back in August!”

The Long Road takes place between 26-28 August Bank Holiday Weekend 2022 at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire. Day tickets are currently £55 and weekend camping tickets from £160 (subject to booking fees).
