Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard joins Tim McGraw on Beyond The Influence Radio today on Apple Music Country.
Hubbard speaks to McGraw about everything from working with Nelly to investing in solo projects, and even touches on the recent US elections.
The episode comes just a couple of weeks after the pair got together to release ‘Undivided’, a song which Hubbard wrote whilst quarantining due to a positive Covid-19 test.
Speaking about the song, Hubbard said, “We were just sort of in a wild time, and it just felt very divided, and there were a lot of tense emotions and pressures and divisions that I sensed going on.
I think part of it was just like a message for myself like, ‘Hey, let’s come together - let’s not let these things in our life this year divide us the way that they can do so easily”.
Florida Georgia Line have announced a new album set to be released on February 12, but the duo have stated they are taking time out to work on solo projects.
“Now we’re getting to experience a really cool wave of creativity on our own, we can grow that, nurture it and be supportive of each other…it’s only going to make us stronger”.
