Holding up their vinyl, Jimmy Kimmel introduced Treaty Oak Revival on his eponymous show last night (21st April), with their latest single, ‘Bad State Of Mind’.

On a stage lit to reflect their artwork, the West Texas band performed under hues of purple and blue on the late-night show that has over 1 billion viewers. The five boys from Odessa, Texas rocked out, and their enjoyment was palpable.

‘Bad State of Mind’ was released on 14th February and has already garnered over 35 million global streams. It's not exactly a love song, but we do love the irony of releasing it on Valentine’s Day.

At a time where country music is exploding with genre blending success, Treaty Oak Revival are at the forefront. Combining clever lyricism with edgy riffs and head-banging beats, the band are navigating the culture of Nashville and lacing it with an alternative sharpness for the indie-punk country fans.

Treaty Oak Revival are nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award in the New Duo or Group of the Year category. They will go up against Restless Road and The Red Clay Strays at the prestigious ceremony, which will be held on May 8th in Frisco, Texas.

Performing an intimate sold out gig at The Fonda Theatre in LA later in the week and going on to perform at Stagecoach this weekend, Treaty Oak Revival are kicking off their year with a solid line-up of tour-stops. If their Jimmy Kimmel Live set is anything to go by, ticket-holders are in-store for an electrifying show.
