The Secret Sisters have confirmed their new album, Mind, Man, Medicine will arrive on March 29th 2024, with the lead single, ‘Same Water’, being made available immediately.
The hotly anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2020's widely lauded record, Saturn Return, which has spawned fan-favourites such as ‘Hold You Dear’, ‘Late Bloomer’ and ‘Fair’.
Speaking ahead of the Mind, Man, Medicine unveiling, The Secret Sisters explained how the newly release single, ‘Same Water’, came about while spending time in Music City.
The duo underlined, “Fresh off the stress of a worldwide pandemic and slowly entering into a more normal world, we wrote this song together on a wet afternoon in Nashville, trying to make sense of the ways we all choose to find healing, as a society and as individuals”.
The Secret Sisters, comprising siblings Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagle, have established themselves as leading figures in the quickly evolving country-folk space ever since they dropped their celebrated self-titled debut record over a decade ago.
The news that Mind, Man, Medicine is on the way has been accompanied by the announcement that The Secret Sisters will be embarking on a Spring 2024 tour, which will take them across Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois and Minnesota.
